Yosemite National Park, CA

Estelle and Igor originally wanted to shoot near Los Angeles, but as I had already planned a personal trip to Yosemite that same weekend, I offered to photograph them inside  the park instead. The couple had eloped in San Francisco the day before our shoot, so we made a plan of where to meet and the time, confident that everything would align. Due to recent wildfires, the sky was rather smokey that weekend, but luckily the clouds happened to part for a brief moment during sunset long enough to catch those famous sun rays that Yosemite is so well known for.  We finished their session the next morning at Tunnel View, while watching the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen. I can't wait to go back to Yosemite again soon, as it has easily become one of my favorite places to photograph!
